We’re looking for a Debt Recovery Administrator to join us at our Business Centre in Bradford. The working pattern for this role is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote. Our Finance/Insurance Team is growing as we look to expand our services. We need 2 debt handlers for a minimum 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for running your own portfolio of debt recovery cases using a case management system. This role is suited to either a legal paralegal wanting to work in an up and coming department for exposure, an experienced debt handler looking for their next challenge or someone with customer service/call center experience who is wanting to shine. Running a portfolio of outstanding debt matters to maximise recoveries Use of the telephone to make contact with debtors regarding the balance Utilising an automation and case management system to actively progress matters in an efficient and effective way Handling cases in line with key performance indicators to ensure we meet established service level agreements. Reviewing documentation; summarising and identifying key points, considering risks versus benefits, and reporting to collaborators, customers, partners, and team members as needed. Identifying key issues and evidence gathering Keeping up to date with relevant debt legislation and case law that may affect the team Helping with refinement of automation to continually move forward with improving our tools Raising with the line manager any important issues or concerns and seeking assistance and direction when needed We tend to look for people with: Essential education / qualification skills & abilities: Microsoft packages use Office experience Case management experience Good listener Attention to detail Comfortable using telephone Desirable education / qualification skills & abilities Telecoms experience/knowledge Legal qualification/s Knowledge of the law and experience of case handling What’s in it for you?
