An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a rapidly growing and expanding company in the semiconductor industry. This role will play a key part in managing financial operations, partnering with the business to control costs, and supporting the relocation of operations to Eurocentral. Reporting to the local CEO and Group CFO, this is a pivotal role for an experienced finance professional.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee monthly closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with Group requirements.
* Prepare and review monthly trial balances, reconciling financial data for consistency and accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
* Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
* Support annual audit and tax reporting requirements.
* Work closely with the Group Finance team in France to maintain financial alignment.
Project & Cost Control
* Monitor and report on projects, including contract accounting and project analysis.
* Provide financial insights to support cost base business partnering and cost control initiatives.
* Assist in the financial planning and budgeting for the office relocation to Eurocentral.
Planning, Forecasting & Finance Business Partnering
* Support the Group Financial Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A analysis.
* Provide financial modelling to support strategic decision-making.
* Identify financial risks and opportunities to drive business performance improvements.
* Act as a finance business partner, using commercial insights to support business operations.
Team & Systems Management
* Manage and mentor one direct report.
* Oversee the use of Sage Line 50 for financial operations and reporting.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* 5 to 8 years of financial experience, preferably with an audit background or strong industry experience.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
* Proven experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, and cost control.
* Experience in project financial management and business transitions.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with Sage Line 50 is desirable but not essential.
