Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a prominent Scottish business, known for its strong community connections and commitment to connecting people and businesses, in their search for a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the role will be based in their Head Office in Paisley, working closely with the wider HR team and playing a pivotal role in fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workforce.
As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leaders and line managers to implement HR strategies that align with the business’ objectives and values. The role requires a proactive, solutions focused individual with the ability to influence, advise, and support across all HR matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice on employment law, best practices, and company policies, ensuring compliance and fostering strong employee relations.
* Develop and maintain HR documentation, including handbooks, procedures, and templates, ensuring accessibility and relevance.
* Support recruitment activities, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and alignment with workforce planning.
* Champion the staff appraisal programme, promoting a culture of continuous feedback and development.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute talent development strategies, succession planning, and leadership initiatives.
* Lead organisational design and transformation projects, including TUPE transfers and employee consultations.
* Build strong relationships with employees, trade unions, and stakeholders, promoting trust and mutual respect.
* Utilise HR metrics to inform decision-making, driving strategic improvements across business areas.
We are looking to speak with candidates who have a proven track record operating at HR Business Partnering level. Trade union knowledge/experience is essential as is the ability to operate in a fast-paced changing environment. You will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights effectively.
You will have a proven ability to build relationships and influence at all organisational levels. You will have a collaborative mindset which will be aligned with the companies’ values of service excellence.
