Role: Project Manager
Location: Gatwick Airport
Salary: £85,000 – 95,000
Our client is a well-established construction company who have a project at Gatwick airport and are looking to bring on board a project manager. The ideal candidate will have prior experience of delivering projects at Gatwick airport. The works will be refurb, meaning that it will also be an advantage to have refurbing experience. This role involves managing all aspects of project delivery, working closely with the project team to meet client expectations.
About the Role:
As Project Manager, you’ll oversee a skilled team, fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and professional partners. This position demands a strategic thinker who excels in problem-solving, team leadership, and high-level communication. Key responsibilities include managing timelines, costs, quality, and coordinating all elements of the project from planning to on-site execution
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
* Achieve set targets for cost, time, profitability, and quality.
* Build strong, professional relationships with clients and teams.
* Proactively address challenges and propose practical solutions.
* Provide strategic guidance and support the team in project delivery.
* Review designs, drawings, and contribute to project scheduling.
* Ensure project reporting and programme control meet high standards.
* Maintain health, safety, and data security compliance on-site.
Qualifications and Skills:
* At least 10 years’ project management experience.
* Relevant qualifications in a construction-related discipline.
* Proficient in Word and Excel, with strong leadership and delegation abilities.
* Holder of a CSCS card and first aid certification.
* Skilled in managing client relationships and team dynamics.
* Familiar with construction methods, M&E systems, and safety legislation.
