Job Description
The Role
As a Recruiter, your role is to partner with hiring managers by providing specialist advice and insights on Talent Acquisition. You will be accountable for project managing and delivering a number of vacancies across multiple business areas - from initial briefing through to offer and onboarding stage. You’ll use a range of tools, channels and insights to proactively source and engage diverse, high quality candidates and deliver a fantastic candidate experience.
Working closely with Employer Branding and Diversity & Inclusion specialists, you’ll support and enhance our talent attraction strategy across the UK, Europe and beyond - ensuring that ASOS is seen as an employer of choice in a highly competitive market.
Principle Accountabilities
1. Partnering with hiring managers, providing best-practice guidance, support and insights on how to hire and engage talent for ASOS.
1. Accountable for meeting ongoing TA delivery numbers with diverse, high quality candidates in a timely manner.
1. Proactively sourcing passive talent for current positions, as well as creating talent maps / pools to ensure that we are engaging with future talent for ASOS.
1. Gaining in-depth understanding of various business areas and providing proactive solutions to ensure hiring goals and deadlines are met.
1. Delivering a positive and efficient candidate experience.
1. Recommending and driving process improvements that have a positive impact on recruitment effectiveness and stakeholder experiences.
1. Delivering emerging talent programmes, including multiple Intern and Apprenticeship schemes.
1. Providing analysis and insights on recruitment data, to support hiring decisions.
1. Delivering training for hiring managers on interviewing skills and unconscious bias.
1. Accountable for bringing the ASOS Employer Brand to life, ensuring it is broadcast as broadly as possible, harnessing employee advocacy for reach and further building brand equity for ASOS as a whole.
1. Partnering and educating ASOS leaders on the importance of hiring, ensuring that they play an active role in talent acquisition by equipping and partnering with them.
Qualifications
Competencies and Behaviours:
Essential
* Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment for a high volume of vacancies,
* Strong understanding of the external employment landscape and relevant trends in Talent Acquisition.
* Proven track record of managing at least 20-30 vacancies at any one time and delivering against them.
* Demonstrable track record in direct sourcing of candidates.
* Knowledge of managing recruitment workflows in an applicant tracking system (ATS).
* Experience of tapping into Talent Communities, accessing and leveraging hidden and diverse talent for critical skill areas.
* Keen interest and advocacy for Diversity & Inclusion; evidenced experience in sourcing and attracting diverse talent.
* Self-starter with a problem solving and initiative driven approach to recruitment.
* The ability to be detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, effective working relationships.
Desirable
* Recruiting experience within a global e-commerce business.
* Recruiting experience across multiple countries, in multiple disciplines.
* Experience with Smart Recruiters would be a big plus.
