This is a brave special school for pupils aged 3-19 years, currently serving 228 young people. The school moved into a new building in September 2017 and is developing a successful 20-bed residential provision, which is part of our holistic educational approach.
Previous experience in a special needs setting is not essential. Our goal is to support our learners to the best of our ability, with a mission to be transformational. Our model focuses on making meaningful progress for learners and their families.

5. Ensure that Annual Review documentation and contributions significantly impact the young person's experience and achievements, fostering shared priorities with families.
6. Listen to the voices around the learner, incorporating all insights into their curriculum and support strategies.
7. Work with your team to raise standards through staff performance management.
8. Assist in developing and delivering training to support teaching and learning.
9. Collaborate with Curriculum Leaders on curriculum development, planning, recording, reporting, and assessment.
10. Support the Senior Leadership Team in monitoring and evaluating the quality of education.
11. Ensure effective communication and safeguarding with staff and families.
12. Narrate the progress journey and identify areas for further development.
13. Contribute to the effective organization and daily operation of the school.
14. Undertake professional duties delegated by the headteacher as appropriate.

Pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency in the future.
