Easton Group is an established family business with 50 years’ experience in the property industry.
Based in Dundonald, the business has a robust portfolio of residential and commercial properties, and we are currently looking for a Property Maintenance Operative to join our expanding team.
This role would suit an experienced joiner/kitchen-fitter with excellent communication skills, who enjoys working independently and as part of a small team.
The ideal candidate will have general trades knowledge and will be required to conduct various property maintenance tasks, including kitchen and bathroom installations. A high level of customer service and communication is essential; you will be required to take instructions from our Property Maintenance Manager and be able to interact with tenants in a friendly and professional manner. Prior experience in a similar role would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to company policy and procedures.
2. Follow the Health and Safety guidelines, as exhibited on COSHH.
3. Carry out a variety of property repairs, as required, and indicated by the Maintenance Manager.
4. Arrange and follow a property maintenance schedule, managing time effectively, and ensuring that every repair is completed to the highest standard.
5. Maintain a professional manner whilst conducting repairs and interacting with tenants.
6. Always take precautionary Health and Safety measures while carrying out maintenance work.
7. Carry out risk assessments for the use of equipment within premises and the surrounding area.
8. Immediately report back to the Maintenance Manager of any faults or repairs that could not be rectified.
9. Ensure the correct and economical use of materials/equipment, keeping wastage to a minimum.
10. The ability to adapt and learn quickly will be important within this role.
Key Requirements:
1. A Full clean UK drivers’ licence is essential.
2. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
3. The candidate will be required to have a high level of skill and good proven knowledge of Kitchen and Bathroom installations.
