Page Personnel is currently recruiting for a well-established business based in Grimsby, offering an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their team.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include developing a balance sheet sign-off process that aligns with the P&L sign-off and producing board packs. The Finance Manager will also handle all stakeholder reporting requirements, including quarterly bank reports. Managing the budgeting process in accordance with group standards and deadlines is crucial, as is implementing a mid-year re forecasting process.
The role involves supporting the business in assessing new business and acquisition opportunities, providing balanced insights into operational merits and drawbacks. The Finance Manager will participate in strategy and onboarding teams for new business ventures and growth. Additionally, overseeing customer service and operational performance, minimizing non-conformance, and reporting on the performance of non-finance departments. Maintaining liquidity through day-to-day treasury management and ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting is essential. The Finance Manager will also liaise with external European accounts concerning VAT, payroll, and statutory accounts.
The Successful Applicant
* QBE or Part- qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or relevant finance degree.
* Problem solving skills
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to work.
