Key Responsibilities
1. Integrated Circuit Design: Develop new analog circuit technologies, emphasizing medical applications, achieving super low leakage and minimal dynamic power.
2. Technology Development: Master leading-edge semiconductor technologies like GLOBALFOUNDRIES 22FDX or other innovative processes, ensuring ultra-efficient designs.
3. Tool Mastery: Utilise and refine your skills with design tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso, while staying on top of evolving tools and techniques.
4. Foundry Collaboration: Drive critical technical discussions with semiconductor foundries, with a focus on selecting the right processes and fine-tuning PDKs for optimal performance.
5. Team Integration: Work seamlessly with System Engineering, ensuring designs meet overarching product goals while maintaining exceptional quality and efficiency. Qualifications
6. Education: A Diploma or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Informatics, or Physics.
7. Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential for daily communication; knowledge of German is beneficial but not mandatory.
8. Experience: A background in Analog/ Mixed-Signal IC design is highly desirable. Familiarity with project management principles and experience driving development projects will set you apart. Preferred Skills
9. Mastery of analog design tools (Cadence Virtuoso or equivalent) and knowledge of digital design tools.
10. Understanding CAD design flows and experience in handling semiconductor technologies like FDSOI or FinFET.
