We are currently recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to drive revenue growth and maximize gross profit aligned with business objectives, with an opportunity develop key relationships with customers to secure new and increased spend. This role will be part of the Internal Account Management team and will report to the Head of Internal Sales. Key tasks and duties: Quote requests from customers are responded to within 30mins (except for quotes with specials) All quotes assigned to you must have been followed up on the CRM 121 call with ASM every morning and afternoon Make a minimum of 5 outbound proactive calls logged on CRM Always Be Closing – once you win an order pass all relevant information to your Customer Support contact to take forward so you can be freed by to hunt the next enquiry or close the next order Tracks Sales & GP per account using relevant systems at the start of each month – submit to Internal Sales Manager & ASM by the end of the first week of the month with notes/actions Track monthly spend and GP/compare spend to the previous year Work with ASM to build account plans for the top 20% of customers Send out 1 e-shot per week on behalf of ASM according to the marketing calendar Introduce new products to your customers Work to get high maintenance or simple customers online to free you up to quote bigger enquiries. Identify opportunities for growth Goals and KPIs: As a Team Area, hit targeted Sales and GP targets As an individual, hit 5 outbound calls a day Make sure all quotes are followed up promptly Hours and shifts: Must be flexible according to the workload and what’s required but standard hours are 8 am to 5 pm. Person Specification: Communication with customers must be by phone not email Passion and energy for sales Always on the lookout for opportunities Builds and maintains strong relationships with assigned clients and acts as a trusted advisor and the main point of contact. Engages in conversations to understand potential clients' needs, and build rapport and trust. Provides relevant product information and insights that address potential clients' pain points. Responds quickly to customer price and invoice queries following up every quote with accurate information. Territory growth by initiating cold outreach to potential clients through emails, phone calls, and social media. Gathers insights from BDMs and Area Sales Reps regarding customer expectations, challenges, and feedback. Collaborates with Sales Support to ensure orders are processed accurately and any customer issues are responded to quickly. Ability to work quickly and with confidence. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. IT skills and experience using ERP and CRM systems. Accuracy and attention to producing high-quality work and completing tasks.
