We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join their team and inspire students across Key Stages 3,4 and 5 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. This role begins April 2025. Duties as a General Science Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3/KS4/KS5. Teach a broad range of topics within Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Encourage scientific curiosity and critical thinking through practical investigations and experiments. Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support. Ensure a safe and well-managed laboratory environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the Science curriculum. Support extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, or school trips. Ideal General Science Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Science at [KS3/KS4/KS5]. Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. A passion for engaging and inspiring students in Science. Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills. The ability to make Science accessible, exciting, and relevant to students of all abilities. Strong teamwork and communication skills, working effectively with colleagues and students as a General Science Teacher. A commitment to high expectations and raising student attainment .
