We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales and Service Administrator with experience in SAP and Salesforce to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and supporting the sales team in delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will utilize SAP and Salesforce to manage customer accounts, track sales activities, and ensure the seamless execution of business processes. This will be a hybrid position working 3 days in the office near Cambridge and 2 days at home.
As the Sales and Service Administrator you will be:
1. Dealing with the customer directly when receiving and processing incoming sales orders, enquiries and delivery problems etc.
2. Processing any returns and account inquiries.
3. Liaising with Accounts Receivable to ensure payments were allocated correctly (especially for prepayments).
4. Liaising with customers with regard to late invoice payment.
5. Passing customer feedback onto the product and sales teams to improve customer service experience.
6. Escalating service issues to the appropriate product or sales manager in a timely manner.
7. Investigating customer complaints.
8. Communicating and arranging deliveries from warehouse as necessary.
As the Sales and Service Administrator you will have:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related field.
2. Strong experience with SAP and Salesforce; proficiency in using these systems to track orders, customer interactions, and sales data.
3. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
