Job Description
Support Workers / Care Team required to join our growing care team for our clients all across metropolitan Melbourne.
Multiple shift types are available and we prefer support workers who can be flexible to provide support in-home & support outings as required for the client.
Casual roles are now available and we are also happy to partner with independent contract carers who love being self-employed but also enjoy having regular secure work by partnering with a larger service provider.
Requirements
* Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged Care
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* National Police Check
* Working with Children Check
* First Aid certificate and CPR
* NDIS Workers Orientation (preferred)
* Eligibility to work in Australia
* Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence
* Current full Driver’s license
Competencies and Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 6 months relevant experience
* Previous experience supporting People with Disability
* Demonstrated proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
* Ability to prioritise effectively and organise own work / caseload
* Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
Pay rates vary based on the day of the week & shift type, but rest assured we like to recognise our carers' skills & experience. Our Support Worker rates typically exceed the SCHADS award rates + penalties.
