An exciting opportunity to join the UK Sponsor Services team based in London. The UK Sponsor Services team works on transactions across the spectrum of our banking products including initial public offerings, other capital raises, certain M&A transactions, and provides UK regulations-related advice for our corporate broking clients. This team also has exposure to Corporate Broking and being able to work on broker relationships would be encouraged. As an Associate in the UK Sponsor Services team, you will play a lead role in implementing the execution function including working with other analysts and associates, as well as collaborating closely with senior bankers. You will also have plenty of opportunities to partner with other bankers from the group as well as colleagues from other industry and product teams across EMEA. Job responsibilities Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact on Sponsor transactions or providing Sponsor-related guidance to colleagues on corporate broking clients and other transactions Manage co-ordination, including client communication, co-ordination of advisory teams externally and within the bank Conduct daily deal execution, project management and taking leadership in supporting client coverage Execute the transaction workstreams which underpin the Sponsor role (legal, accounting, financial etc.), and also for other transactions as required Support the internal management of the Sponsor function Liaise with J.P. Morgan product teams and sector teams Identify and manage risks in a given transaction Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Experience of work required in support of eligibility processes, and Sponsor Declarations, including reviewing accounting reports Experience of creating and reviewing records required by the FCA in relation to a Sponsor role Proficient accounting, valuation and numeracy skills Ability to react well to pressure whilst multitasking on numerous projects Ability to comfortably interact with clients and teams in a professional and mature manner High level of attention to detail, proactivity and time management Comfort in and commitment to an inclusive teamwork environment Highly organised, detail oriented and proactive Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity UK Investment Banking The J.P.
