Job Description Sales & Operations Planning Manager (Aftermarket) – Trent XWB Value Stream Flexible working patterns considered Derby / Hybrid 3 days on-site What you will be doing: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated leader to join the Trent XWB Commercial Aviation Value Stream team as Sales & Operations Planning Manager (Aftermarket). With over 600 aircraft in service and a growing orderbook of 1300 aircraft, the Trent XWB Value Stream covers the full scope of activity for both engines in service and development. This provides a unique opportunity to develop business breadth, lead a team and play a pivotal role in delivering Rolls-Royce’s financial commitments. This position, reporting to the Senior Vice President - Fleet Management, will be the Value Stream lead for all activity related to maintaining and forecasting all parts demands in support of overhaul shop visits and engine on-wing requirements. Working as the primary interface with Aftermarket Operations, Portfolio Planning, Customer facing teams, Value Stream, Procurement and Manufacturing, this role will integrate a range of internal and external information to create a demand scenario which satisfy operational and financial requirements. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Sales & Operations Planning Manager (OE) Lead and develop a team of Service Parts Planners Lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process (SIOP) on behalf of the Trent XWB Value Stream to determine actual and forecast demands for new parts to support sales to Airline Operators and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities in the execution of Rolls-Royce aftermarket services Secure and reconcile multiple stakeholder inputs to create demand scenarios, understanding implications for operational and financial commitments and securing buy off with CEO-2/ CEO-3 stakeholders Work with the Portfolio Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing teams to ensure that all approved demand signals can be scheduled, risks understood, and demand/ supply balancing activities successfully resolved Lead the inventory budgeting and management activity of Aftermarket (1203) to ensure the delivery of year-on-year improvement in stock turns Evaluate and provide guidance/ feedback to internal stakeholders and external customers on the impact of aftermarket overhaul build rate and service support changes Support the end-to-end Trent XWB supply chain in understanding longer term forecasts for strategic decision making and rate assessments for Aftermarket.
