Manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to. Drive the hospitality operations to exceed customer requirements. Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting. Demonstrate commercial value to your direct reports, line manager and Leadership teams, in line with the One Compass vision, values and overall business strategy. Who you are: A sound background within hospitality or contract catering is an advantage, as is excellent food and health and safety awareness. In this role there is a need for strong people management skills and excellent communication, with the flexibility to adapt style depending on the audience and circumstances. There is also responsibility for coaching and training the team in order to ensure that all employees have the appropriate skills to deliver an excellent service. There is a strong focus and need for management of budgets, labour costs and delivering against sales and profit targets. Therefore, commercial awareness is essential as is the ability to hold others accountable and think strategically. In this role there is a high level of responsibility and focus on ensuring that we are delivering a great service to our clients and customers. A strong customer service background and ethos is therefore vital.
