A welcoming and inclusive school in Hammersmith is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a structured and nurturing environment.

They are looking for a compassionate and proactive individual to support students with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, and Speech & Language needs.
Role Overview
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hammersmith
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £103 - £110 per day (dependant on experience)
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have experience working within Primary Schools or Specialist provisions
2. Have experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, SEMH, and Speech & Language needs (preferred but not essential)
3. Be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with students
4. Be confident in supporting students with communication challenges and emotional regulation
5. Work well within a collaborative team, including teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
6. Have a proactive and creative approach to engaging students in learning
Your Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with additional needs
2. Assist in implementing tailored learning plans to support student progress
3. Help create a safe and structured environment for students to thrive
4. Support students in developing social skills, confidence, and independence
5. Work alongside teachers and specialists to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
