We are seeking to appoint a permanent part time cleaner to start January 2025
ROLE DETAILS
We are seeking to appoint a new member to our Cleaning Team. We are looking for someone who is hardworking and reliable who will be responsible for the cleaning of designated areas as allocated by the Cleaning Manager ensuring that the standards of cleaning meet the expectations of the school.
The position is part time Monday to Friday 16 hours per week,
Monday 3.00pm - 6.00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, working hours 2.30pm - 6.00pm and on Friday 2.30pm - 5.00pm.
Please note that this position is not term time.
Duties include:
* To maintain a clean internal environment of the school premises to support the professional delivery of the curriculum.
* Undertake individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition in compliance with Health & Safety & COSHH.
* Cleaning duties will include - wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, walls, doors and polishing door glass. Cleaning toilets including sanitary fittings and surrounds. Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces. Wiping, polishing and straightening furniture. Checking and closing windows and doors.
* Be willing to participate in staff training and development - CPD.
