Can we support your business? YESSS we can Role Description: Reporting to the European Service Desk Manager you will be working in a small but focused support team which is driven to succeed. The IT Department is a relaxed environment but with hard working people. We want an individual that has the same drive and ethics to support all departments but to also be reliable, logical and have a positive attitude. You will be part of a team that will be providing an excellent customer service and support to all departments in all countries (UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Luxembourg) and will be supporting the users in their day-to-day usage of both the custom ERP system and Windows systems. Responsibilities & Duties: Respond to users queries via telephone or email Resolve issues from users with a varying degree of technical knowledge and experience Basic troubleshooting on both Windows systems and the custom ERP system Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately. Essential Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem solving skills Excellent attention to detail Willingness to learn Advantageous Skills / Experience Previous customer service experience Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
