UBT Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of a very reputable, family run business based in South Wales. Our client is a supplier of high-quality flooring and accessories, they are now recruiting a Head of Sales to join their team.
The purpose of this role is to assist in building the 5-year strategic plan with specific channel strategies. As Head of Sales you will be responsible for developing a strategic sales plan to advance the company's brand presence in the marketplace to promote revenue, profitability, and growth in the UK. You will also be responsible for meeting and exceeding the collective sales targets by coaching, mentoring, and growing the sales team to be able to competently grow the respective regions and seek out new opportunities for the future.
This is a remote role, but covering the UK wide, in which you will be on the road 4 times per week.
Duties:
* Coaching & mentoring the sales team.
* Forecasting annually and quarterly to be intimate with performance metrics.
* Building a sales plan to meet the business goals.
* Review the sales team activities to align with business goals and targets.
* Focused on ensuring the team achieves their potential.
* Use sales data to keep up to date with current market trends and customer needs.
* Providing direction and guidance for the creation of account plans for larger accounts.
* Identify and create a strong loyal relationship with all decision makers.
* Network with key stakeholders and decision makers.
* Use pareto analysis to ensure top accounts giving 80% of the business are maintained and growing.
* Present company report at Director meetings.
* Aware and contributing to company KPIs and business plan.
* Aware of all competitive activities within major accounts.
* Promote disciplined use of CRM and administration.
* Sales presentations for major accounts to demonstrate the credibility of the business and its products.
* Alignment to strategic pricing policy and playing a key role in its review.
* Handle pricing information with the sales team and negotiate with high level decision makers on selling value over price.
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic alliances.
* Create sales strategies with sales team aligned with business goals.
* Working closely with the senior management team for the betterment of the business.

Benefits:
* Salary: £90,000- £120,000.
* Bonus: 10%.

* The role is 07:30 till 16:30, Monday to Friday, lunch 60 minutes. This role requires flexibility around working hours to deliver on the needs of the customers.
