Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in the Marine & Tunnels section of works in the CWA! We are seeking a dedicated Planner to join our dynamic team in London. As a Planner, you'll work closely with the Planning Lead and the broader SZC team to drive the success of the Marine & Tunnels section of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Mastermind: Develop and manage the Works Schedule, ensuring compliance with best practices and planning procedures.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the team to adopt the most efficient design, procurement, and construction strategies.
Insightful Reporting: Support the Portion Lead Planner with intelligent analysis and monthly reports.
Critical Path Evaluation: Identify the project critical path and recommend corrective actions to keep us on track.
Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with site teams and the supply chain to ensure seamless progress and reflect future work sequences.
Trend and Change Champion: Analyse schedule impacts, develop mitigation options, and support commercial assessments of changes.
Resource Management: Balance and manage labour, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project goals.
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyse project data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Experienced Civil Engineering Planner with proficiency in NEC and P6.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Proven track record in promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with nuclear safety and environmental regulations.
Leadership or supervisory experience in civil engineering projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
Qualifications:
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related sector.
Experience managing Construction Programmes in medium to large-scale infrastructure projects.
Expertise in planning works across various disciplines such as Highways, Rail, Utilities, Earthworks, and Marine structures.
Desirable:
Membership in CIOB/MICE
Experience with 4D/Synchro Modelling
