Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with a variety of SEN (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and learning difficulties)
2. Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities designed to meet the needs of students
3. Implement strategies to support students with literacy, numeracy, and social skills development
4. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student confidence and personal growth
5. Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to ensure students receive the support and resources they need
What We’re Looking For:
1. A 2:1 degree or higher in a relevant field such as Psychology, Education, or Sociology
2. A genuine passion for working with secondary school students who have SEN
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Previous experience in SEN or education is an advantage but not required
5. Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual student needs
6. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
7. Problem-solving mindset to tailor support to meet the unique needs of students
