The Maths faculty is a charismatic and driven group of individuals who have developed upon the Kangaroo Maths Scheme of Learning in order to provide an enriching, seamless curriculum from Year 7 through to Year 13. The Maths Department has recently moved into a new purpose-built building with state-of-the-art facilities, including airy classrooms and modern interactive monitors. The recently appointed Head of Faculty is committed to leading the department to improve exam results and raise student aspirations. Our wonderful staff team work tirelessly to ensure that our students are ambitious and motivated to succeed; we are looking for an inspirational teacher with a similar mindset to join us.
Melksham Oak Community School is a large, thriving 11-18 secondary school where students of all abilities, aptitudes and social backgrounds are nurtured, encouraged and challenged to achieve their best. We recently welcomed Ofsted inspectors to the school and have been rated good in all areas.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths, to join this successful and forward-looking faculty. A comprehensive programme of support and training will be made available to the successful applicant and any ECT appointed will be supported with a reduced timetable, a mentor and a strong commitment to their professional development.
