About the Role You'll be part of a collaborative team that delivers practical, business-focused advice on complex commercial transactions. This includes supporting clients in industries such as advanced manufacturing, life sciences, energy, aerospace, and logistics. Your work will span domestic and international projects, helping businesses navigate legal challenges and seize growth opportunities. Key areas of focus include: Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply chain, procurement, outsourcing, and research and development contracts. Advising on market entry strategies and legal frameworks for companies expanding into new territories. Supporting energy transition and decarbonisation projects, as well as productivity improvement initiatives. Collaborating with clients' in-house legal teams, providing practical, in-house-style advice to businesses without internal legal support. Contributing to multi-jurisdictional projects, often working with international partners to deliver seamless cross-border solutions. You will also have the opportunity to take part in international secondments and work on high-profile strategic projects. What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in commercial contracts. Proven expertise in handling complex contractual matters, including supply chain management, procurement, and the sale of goods and services. Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients. Familiarity with international trade, including import and export matters, would be advantageous. Experience or an interest in technology, intellectual property, or data protection is beneficial but not essential.
