We are looking for a Finance Officer to work for a small family run construction company. This position can be 3,4 or 5 days per week, and will be office based.
You will need to have XERO Finance systems experience and excellent EXCEL.
Your duties:
1. Process purchase and sales ledger transactions and perform reconciliations.
2. Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with month-end processes.
3. Post journal entries for accrued and prepaid expenses.
4. Prepare and distribute client sales invoices.
5. Support the preparation of VAT returns and payroll processing.
6. Purchase and sales ledger processing and reconciliations.
7. Perform bank reconciliations.
8. Month-end process completion.
9. Assist in preparing financial reports.
10. Reconcile general ledgers accounts to supporting spreadsheet analysis.
11. Post journal entries for accrued and prepaid expenses.
12. Produce and analyse financial reports, including project and timesheet data.
13. Liaise with project managers on invoicing and financial aspects of projects.
14. Maintain accurate drawdown and approval records.
15. Reconcile general ledger accounts to supporting documentation.
16. Support credit control and aged debt management.
17. Assist in balance sheet reconciliations.
