The Role.

They are looking for a motivated Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their finance team where you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and Payroll. In this role, you will be working 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Your day-to-day duties include:
1. Learning to purchase invoices and credit notes.
2. Helping to prepare payments to suppliers.
3. Assisting with posting supplier payments and allocating them.
4. Getting hands-on with generating and sending invoices.
5. Learning how to record customer receipts and follow up on outstanding payments.
6. Assisting with managing our invoice financing and factoring accounts.
7. Supporting payroll processing for weekly and monthly staff using Sage 50 Payroll (training provided!).
8. Helping maintain records of wages, deductions, and benefits.
9. Assisting in reconciling bank accounts to ensure accurate cash flow.

What We're Looking For.
The ideal candidate is driven and has a keen interest in finance, accounting, and business. You will have great attention to detail, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn and grow your skills, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications. Additionally, you will need strong organizational skills and be highly adaptable to changing environments.
