As Programme Lead within the Primary Care team, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team across the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (NENC ICB) in the management of contracts, including the commissioning and decommissioning of services, performance management, transformation, assurance and related projects. As an essential part of the team, the post holder will work on a variety of projects and tasks collaborating with different teams within NENC ICB and with providers (GP practices). Working autonomously, the post holder will be supporting the quality assurance and payment of enhanced services as well as ensuring GP contracts are kept up to date.The post holder will support the Commissioning Manager and Head of Primary Care in the delivery of Primary Care and Community services to the South Tyneside and Sunderland area. The post holder will be responsible for building effective working relationships with stakeholders and be able to use local knowledge of the area and contractors to inform effective commissioning of services. contributing to the development of service specifications and to the development and redesign of care pathways, to ensure commissioned services provide quality and value for money. The role is a great opportunity to develop skills in project management, risk management, dealing with sensitive information and leadership.
