We're looking for a team leader to support our Apprenticeship and Education Department. The focus of this role will be to audit the Apprenticeship levy, examining the payments in and out and informing our future spend. Ensuring that the teams recorded activity meet Ofsted's and the Department of Education's requirements.

You will also help ensure the smooth running of training programs by developing systems to ensure that student data is collected and managing to meet inspection and audit requirements. Additionally, you'll train staff on the systems you have developed and monitor the inputting of others' data, auditing the accuracy of this and putting in support where required.
This role is essential in helping us create reports and dashboards to share valuable data with the wider Trust, showcasing the impact of our learning and development activities. Its an exciting time as we explore digital solutions to improve the learning experience for everyone at the Trust. The post holder will play a key role in supporting changes as part of the Governments Apprenticeship reforms and other ongoing initiatives, so experience leading change is important.
You’ll also be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining processes that ensure smooth operations. This includes monitoring the timeliness, consistency and quality of training data used in the collation of monthly compliance reports and ensuring the accurate recording of external funding. You’ll also work closely with other teams to resolve any issues quickly and prevent them from happening again.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of excel administration, be highly customer-focused, adaptable, and experienced in managing a team.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week but this is flexible
