To provide a wide ranging communications and administrative role within the team. Working closely with the (corporate) Communications Manager in support of internal communications objectives. And, supporting other team members with key campaigns from creative ideas to delivering the finished product in line with the Trust Communications Strategy.
To assist in the implementation of the Trust’s Communications Strategy in conjunction with the Communications Team.
Support the planning, research and creation of content for staff newsletters, including written content, photography and films.
To contribute creative ideas, including design, to help promote the organisation’s work, relating to everything from service developments to recruitment campaigns, awards and events, awareness raising, reputation management etc.

1. Assist in the implementation of the Trust’s Communications Strategy in conjunction with the Communications Team.
2. Support the planning, research and creation of content for staff newsletters, including written content, photography and films.
3. Contribute creative ideas, including design, to help promote the organisation’s work, relating to everything from service developments to recruitment campaigns, awards and events, awareness raising, reputation management etc.
4. Devise and schedule online messages/social media to promote a positive image of the Trust and its work.
5. Be fully conversant with content management systems and with full administrator privileges, populate the Trust's website, intranet, and social media channels, acting as gatekeeper for correct information and Trust identity.
6. Attend events, build relationships and work effectively with Trust staff to develop appropriate content to promote our services.
7. Use digital media to distribute internal and external publications.
8. Assist in publicising Trust events, including annual general meeting, annual awards ceremony, annual social work conference, external conferences, new service launches and internal events for staff.
9. Ensure the Trust brand is correctly represented across all platforms.
10. Take accurate and detailed phone messages from the media, public and members of staff.
11. Commercially aware, able to source quotes and manage Value For Money procedure when ordering goods.
12. Provide a full secretarial service and follow up procedure for actions agreed at team meetings.
13. Become an active member of the Communications Department by developing skills and interests related to public relations procedure and practice.
14. Undertake administrative support for the team.
15. Monitor online ratings/comments and ensure appropriate responses are provided where necessary/appropriate.
16. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyse and report data with Google Analytics and other social media monitoring/reporting mechanisms.
17. Ensure that the relevant content: video, news alerts, press releases, email content, imagery as well as social media, brand awareness and campaigns are in place to achieve team KPIs.
