Account Manager
Location: Godalming
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 08.30am – 17.00pm

The Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Account Manager to join their team. In this exciting role, you will play an important role driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Managing an existing portfolio of customers and attracting new customers.
* Driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities.
* Cross selling to ensure their customers receive tailored services that align perfectly with their needs.
* Working collaboratively with the Relationship Management Team, developing actions plans that turn their significant market potential into new business.
* Nurturing existing customer relationships, with the view to retain their business long term and increase their share of their insurance spend.
Requirement:
* Existing general insurance sales experience is essential, commercial insurance sales experience is desirable.
* Full UK Driver’s license.
* Experience of working in a face-to-face customer environment and holding client meetings.
* Experience prospecting for new clients and developing your own customer acquisition plans.
* Effective negotiation skills.
