Job Title: Sewing Machinist (Industrial)
Location: Warrington (WA4 6PS)
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Shifts: Monday- Thursday - 8am to 4.45pm and Friday 8am to 1pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Our client, a local manufacturing company and supplier of soft play and family entertainment centres, are looking to recruit an experienced Sewing Machinist to join a busy team of Machinists.
Responsibilities:
1. Work on industrial sewing machines, sewing mainly PVC fabrics.
2. Assist with the crafting of soft play centres.
3. Operate Industrial Sewing Machines with a walking foot.
4. Sew PVC fabrics.
5. Collaborate with other team members.
6. Maintain a keen eye for detail.
7. Uphold a commitment to quality work.
Skills/Experience:
1. Previous experience of industrial sewing.
2. Good attention to detail.
3. Ability to learn and develop.
4. Willingness to work to tight deadlines.
For this role, training can be given to candidates who have previously worked in similar roles.
