Ensure accurate financial reporting – Produce management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and balance sheet reviews, meeting group deadlines. Drive strategic decision-making – Gather, analyse, and present data to enhance profitability and business growth. Support contract management – Ensure billing aligns with contract mechanisms, manage financial compliance, and oversee cost control. Enhance operational performance – Work closely with site management to improve financial processes and reporting. Engage with clients & stakeholders – Act as a trusted financial advisor, supporting contract negotiations, client queries, and commercial strategies. What you bring: Qualified Accountant – ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent qualification. Strong commercial acumen – Skilled in financial strategy, decision-making, and negotiation. Effective communication – Ability to simplify complex financial data for diverse stakeholders. High numeracy skills – Comfortable handling financial assessments under pressure. Contractual expertise – Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial terms. Coaching & mentorship – Ability to train and motivate operational teams. Influencing & relationship management – Skilled in identifying key decision-makers and shaping outcomes. Business awareness – Proactively identifies risks and opportunities to drive financial performance. Project execution – Experience delivering business initiatives within large organisations. Innovation & continuous improvement – Proven ability to set targets, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation. Leadership & accountability – Communicates clear objectives, takes ownership of decisions, and leads cross-functional teams. Technological proficiency – Strong interest in financial systems, databases, and advanced Excel tools.
