Ulster University enjoys a national and international reputation for excellence in teaching and research, while simultaneously playing a leading role in the enrichment of the economic, social and cultural development of Northern Ireland. We have a thriving student body of 30,000 people from over 70 countries across the world delivering a learning experience that develops skills, raises ambitions, and prepares future leaders. In 2021, we established the School of Medicine and it has grown significantly in this time with the first cohort of students scheduled to graduate in 2025. The school is also home to excellent research activity across multiple disciplines.
Since its establishment, the School of Medicine has had considerable impact, and we are now seeking an outstanding leader capable of advancing the School to the next phase of its growth.
We are looking for an individual who will provide exceptional leadership, bringing significant experience of working at a senior level who will support the School in its teaching and research endeavours. We at Ulster place a high importance on creativity, teamwork, and inclusivity, and we will be looking to find a leader to help us further instil these principles throughout the School. The successful candidate will have the chance to help the School grow both domestically and globally in this position.
