We are currently working with a specialistmanufacturing business based in ruralMaidstone.
Due to company growth, they arelooking to recruit a part-time Accounts Administrator to join theirestablished team.
After appropriate training,the Accounts Administrator will be able to assist the rest of theteam with daily, monthly and annual financial duties, taking onsome responsibility for inputting, reviewing and reconcilingaccounts.
Whilst it would be beneficial forthe candidate to have some experience of working in a similar role,this is also an ideal opportunity for a committed candidate from atransferable background or with some relevantqualifications.
KeyTasks/Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly bankreconciliations for multi-currency accounts
* Creatingsales and purchase invoices
* Undertake supplierstatement reconciliations and make payments accordingly
*Credit control responsibilities
* Processing staffexpense claims and credit card statements
* Undertakemonth-end and year-end processes
* Ensuring systems areup-to-date and accurate
* Assist with monthlyreporting
* Participate in the development of the financefunction, team and systems
EssentialSkills:
* Educated to at least A levelstandard, ideally from relevant subjects i.e. maths, economics,statistics, business studies, finance, etc.
* Somerelevant or transferable work experience would have anadvantage
* Strong accuracy and attention todetail
* Analytical by nature
* Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
* Flexibility toadapt to the needs of the business
* Excellent ITskills
