Description and Requirements
Can you manage our media campaigns? Are you a good communicator who can develop, explain, and execute media strategies?
In this role, you will guide and oversee the management of media campaigns from brief to execution for Lenovo for the Nordics region. You will execute the agreed defined strategies through various media channels, working closely with internal and external specialists and pressing for better, more effective campaigns. You will report to our Director, EMEA Media Centre of Excellence (COE). You will also collaborate closely with our other Strategic Media Planners based in the UK and Italy, and the other Media Center of Excellence Team members within Lenovo EMEA Marketing, based around Europe.
The role will have a focus on Nordics, working closely with the local marketing teams, and we would like someone with knowledge of the Nordics media market, but we will consider candidates with a strong media background in other EMEA Markets, who can apply themselves to learn about the Nordics media market and build their knowledge. You will also collaborate with the team to improve best practices across EMEA region, and have exposure to other markets, and over time the scope of the role may evolve to include campaigns in other markets, so a strong media background and EMEA Media knowledge is desirable.
What is waiting for you in this role?
1. Coordinate with various parties to drive the highest-quality campaigns and draw on various inputs, including reporting, expert opinion, media owner recommendations, and internal stakeholder recommendations.
2. Support the local marketing team in developing integrated cross-channel Media strategies for the Lenovo brand and sub-brands.
3. Ensure consistent communication during the planning period and ensure the internal teams have visibility of each step within the process. Be the first point of contact for media plan questions within Lenovo for the Nordics.
4. Responsible for media and consumer insights collection, providing integrated brief response proposals.
5. Collaborate closely with multiple marketing channel specialists to ensure optimal use of each marketing channel.
What do we expect from you?
1. 5 years of experience in Media Planning or in a cross-channel delivery role as an account manager or project manager in relevant field. Specific knowledge/experience of Nordics media marketplace would be an advantage.
2. Fluent in English (mandatory).
3. Understanding of different marketing capabilities and what they offer the client and customer, including Search Marketing, Analytics, Display, Social etc.
4. Ability to manage various stakeholders on long-term projects, and maintain good communication with various parties.
5. Understanding of multi-channel marketing, ensuring digital is fully embedded in all initiatives.
