Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Solihull Head Office


A top groundworks and civil engineering contractor that works on commercial and industrial building projects need to bolster their commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Quantity Surveyor who will take on typical surveying duties;


* valuations and variations
* cost reporting
* negotiating
* relationship building
* compensation events
* pricing variations
* appointing subcontractors
* contract awareness
* final accounts, etc


Working in the Solihull head office you will do site visits to project and lead the commercial elements of the projects from inception to completion. Project elements include: deep and shallow drainage, foundations, balancing ponds, earthwork's, concrete yards and bases, kerbs, roads, infrastructure, hard and soft landscaping, utilities in/out etc


Rewards:

Permanent salaried or LTD company status is fine + package

Up to £120,000 p.a (dependant on experience)


Each project is worth between £2m and £8m from a groundwork's perspective and works are from a subcontracting perspective on behalf of various blue chip building contractors.
