My client a leading law firm are looking to hire a HR Advisor on a 11-month fixed term contract. This role is based in London, and you would be required to attend the office 3 days a week. Supporting 2 HR Business Partners you will be providing commercial and pragmatic HR Advice and support. Duties will include: Acting as the initial point of contact for line managers, offering advice and guidance on HR policies and practices Coaching and guiding line managers to promote formalised communication and objective problem resolution,. Working with stakeholders to fairly manager employee relations cases including dispute resolution, disciplinaries, absences, grievances, retirement and redundancy Updating HR Business Partners with case work progress Supporting the Business Partners with the delivery of any upcoming people projects Working with the HR ops team to assist with processing the full employee lifecycle To carry out this role you must have: Good working knowledge of UK employment law Proven experience in managing cases through to conclusion, balancing the needs of the business and the individual. Experience of providing hands on support and guidance in formal meetings such as disciplinary, grievance and formal consultation.
