Are you looking for an internship that allows you to apply your degree practically in a variety of different market areas? Electronics engineering is an important skill set that is used in most of the projects we work on, so you could find yourself working on anything from biosensing devices to drones and autonomous technologies.
TTP is an independent technology consulting company where scientists and engineers collaborate to invent, design and develop new products and technologies. We partner with the world’s most ambitious companies to address diverse, deep technological problems that enable the creation of advanced products and make a difference to people’s lives.
As TTP is a multi-disciplinary environment, you will work alongside talented people from a wide range of academic backgrounds – from biologists to engineers to physicists – getting to learn from them, whilst also making your own mark on projects.
An internship at TTP presents the opportunity to join us for a year, working alongside our consultants and gaining insight into life within a technical consultancy. You will contribute to exciting live client projects as well as internal TTP initiatives to get hands-on, practical experience and learn more about what a career in innovative technology and product development can offer.
We are looking for students who are ready to create their own opportunities within TTP. You will be encouraged to participate in all areas of the work we do, including time in the lab, joining team meetings and interacting with our clients; experiencing the day-to-day reality of a career with one of Europe’s leading technology companies.
Requirements
1. Studying towards a 2.1 degree in Engineering (General, Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical, Mechatronics, Robotics, firmware, or other related disciplines).
2. Must have completed at least 2 years of study by the time of the start of your internship (so students at the beginning of second year are very welcome to apply).
3. Enthusiastic and curious in nature. We want people who love to learn and get to the heart of a problem – and who do so enthusiastically!
4. Evidence of practical applications of your degree, whether this is through university, previous work experience, or extra-curricular activities.
5. Demonstration of a good grasp of the fundamentals of your chosen discipline and the ability to apply these to understanding and developing new technology.
Note: we recruit on a rolling basis, reviewing applications as they are submitted. There is no set deadline, but once all positions are filled, the advert will close. We recommend applying early for the best chance, as most places are typically filled by Christmas.

This is a paid internship, with TTP’s flat structure providing you with the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities.
