Job Description:
* The primary function of the Maintenance Engineering team is to support the Production Department throughout the provision of planned and daily maintenance
* Technical advice on a range of bespoke machinery.
* The development of new equipment and processes as well as the maintenance of Company properties also form part of the overall departmental responsibilities.
* The engineering department currently operates a rotating shift pattern of early, late and night shifts (Monday - Friday) with a rostered weekend call-out system (1 weekend in 4) - rarely called out
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
1. Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
2. 18th Edition qualification preferred but not essential.
3. Previous experience of working in an Electrical Engineer capacity in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in PLC Control and Variable Speed Motor Controllers.
4. The ability to use your own initiative to solve problems, and to challenge the 'status quo'.
5. A self-motivated attitude and a proven commitment to seeing a job through to its conclusion to maintain production.
