We provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children with mental health needs, who are either admitted to the hospital or attend as day patients. About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Assist teachers in the classroom, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment. Provide individual and group support to students with a wide range of needs. Help students with their learning and develop their confidence and independence. Contribute to a culture of respect and understanding. We are looking for someone who: Has a passion for working with young people. Is enthusiastic and committed to supporting learners. Has excellent organisational and communication skills. Enjoys working as part of a team. Is able to make a positive contribution to our school's ethos. Has a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities. Key Requirements: Maths and English GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above. A good standard of education across a range of subjects. Excellent numeracy/literacy skills - equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English & Maths. Working knowledge of the national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes.
