Our Reception & Events Manager are responsible for Leading and supporting the reception team to provide exceptional customer service to guests. Effectively manage guest enquiries, issues or complaints ensuring a successful resolution is achieved. This role also supports onboard departments by effectively and efficiently planning, promoting and coordinating onboard gifts and events including Weddings at sea, Renewal of Vows, scattering of ashes, group and ad hoc events, ensuring complete guest satisfaction. (More details on roles & responsibilities are included within the Job Descriptions for Reception & Events Managers) Candidates successful for this role require: Recognised hotel qualification i.e. Higher National Diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management is desirable Previous experience of managing a team in a customer facing role preferably within a hotel, hospitality or cruise ship environment Experience of working in a busy 4 / 5 star hotel or resort complex Excellent computer skills, proficient in the use of MS office software and People Management System Excellent planning and organisation skills Previous administration experience is essential, preferably within the hotel or cruise ship industry Previous event planning experience is highly desirable Good command of written and spoken English With our fleet ever changing we are planning for the future, this means that the role you are applying for is in our Talent Pool.
