This role supports both the digital and venues business with a core focus therefore being on brand alignment and consistency, whilst being able to recognize and capitalise on the varying interests of our venues and digital customers.
Job Description
We are looking for candidates with a keen eye and passion for social media that reflect the fun and playful brand that is Mecca Bingo!
We'd like to find someone who is creative and proactive with their finger on the pulse of both trends and platform updates to help us build, boost and develop our social channels!
As the Social Media Executive you will be responsible for:
1. Collating and delivering innovative and engaging content across digital and social media channels.
2. Coordinating the Social Media marketing content calendar to include content, creative and campaign plans to socially support multichannel promotions and initiatives.
3. Using your creative flair to develop engaging content and campaigns to support and promote the brand, pushing our social output to the next level.
4. Being the point of contact for supporting retail social media activity across 50 venues and our group of in-venue social media ambassadors.
5. Supporting the delivery of fantastic influencer campaigns that showcase the best of Mecca and bring our brand to life for new audiences.
6. Partnering and collaborating with other departments to ensure support of relevant promotional and brand messages through social.
7. Ensuring there is a strong and consistent customer experience through social media to other parts of the digital journey.
Qualifications
1. A track record of building fantastic social media accounts, with a portfolio of fantastic content.
2. Ideally previous experience within a social media role with a strong creative flair.
3. Significant knowledge of social media channels, particularly Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
4. Experience or knowledge of; Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Sprout Social and Meta Ads Manager.
5. A degree in marketing, journalism, English or new media or relevant experience preferred, but not essential.
