Senior Autism Assessment Practitioner North B7 - 37.5 hrs
We are seeking a passionate, innovative and motivated practitioner to join our Cumbria Community Paediatric Service specifically North Cumbria.
Cumbria Community Paediatric Service supports better health outcomes for children and young people, including complex physical care and assessment of autism.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working primarily within North Cumbria and will:
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to support the ongoing development, delivery, and evaluation of a highly specialist diagnostic assessment service.
* Provide highly specialised advice and support to children and young people referred to the Cumbria Community Paediatric Team, and their families and carers, including assessment, formulation, and treatment.
* As an autonomous practitioner, be responsible for own clinical activity and interventions and interpretation of agreed guidelines and policies.
* Undertake regular research, clinical audit, and activities for Continuing Professional Development.
* Plan, implement, and evaluate care, to support a family and young person through the diagnostic process from screening and initial triage to conclusion and discharge.
* Provide clinical leadership in the Autism assessment service.
