The Technology Analysis and Product (TAP) Team is a dynamic team of talented Business Analysts and Product Owners within the Group Technology Department. This team operates across several Technology product teams, with some members also working on projects or mobilising new initiatives outside of existing Products. Our primary delivery method is Agile. As a TAP Business Analyst you will be at the heart of our dynamic Scrum teams (and sometime project teams), working alongside talented professionals to drive innovation and deliver impactful technology solutions. You’ll play a crucial role in gathering requirements, supporting change, and ensuring we achieve the best outcomes for our products and services. Key responsibilities Elicitation of Requirements and/or User Stories: A key member of the Project/Scrum Team culminating in the production of well defined, well understood, high quality, unambiguous and consistent Requirements/User Stories. Participation in backlog refinement sessions to keep our product backlog sharp and prioritised. Documentation Produced to Required Standards: Ensure documentation, including user stories and acceptance criteria, meets the highest standards and is maintained accurately. Ability to Present to Stakeholders: Present findings, updates, and requirements/user stories effectively e.g. during sprint reviews and other Agile ceremonies. Builds Relationships: Self-managing: Plan, prioritise and manage your work effectively to deliver exceptional service. Continuous Improvement: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders, serving as a crucial link between the business and the change team to ensure alignment on requirements. Proactively cultivate successful internal and external relationships to support excellence in delivery. Maintain connections with relevant counterparts within business functions, actively contributing to the implementation of solutions. Knowledge, skills and experience Demonstrable Business Analysis experience in a variety of change delivery environments, especially technology focused. A working knowledge of the principles and benefits of Agile and experience of working as Business Analyst in a Scrum team. Demonstrable Business Analysis experience in a variety of change delivery environments, especially technology focused. Relevant industry experience (preferably Financial Services & Insurance). Proficiency with Agile tools (preferably the Atlassian Suite of products Jira and Confluence). Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with business process modelling tools (e.g., Visio) is a plus. A basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (preferred).
