Working within our Dental Health Centres, you will provide reception and clerical support for our busy dental service. The successful applicants may be required to work across our practices in Lerwick, Brae, Whalsay and Yell as operational requirements dictate, however will predominantly be based from Montfield Dental Clinic in Lerwick.
The post will involve working with a range of different people both face-to-face and over the phone, including Dentists, Nurses, professional agencies and, most importantly, the public. You will have responsibility for maintaining accurate and confidential patient information as well as dealing with payments and other enquiries., You will be expected to comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare

We are looking for candidates with experience of working in an office environment, who have achieved at least Standard Grade or equivalent in Maths and English. With excellent communication skills and the ability to work with numerical data, you should also be able to demonstrate good keyboard and General IT aptitude. Above all, we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual with a flexible and proactive approach.
