About the role : A Community Manager is a critical growth driver in our vision to unlock the full potential of our global freelancer community. You will be responsible for facilitating & measuring community engagement through relevant growth strategies. The challenge is to nurture and engage with our current and future freelancer community to drive freelancer retention, expansion and product adoption. Nurture and grow a thriving community of top-tier freelances globally with a particular focus in the UK and US. Develop a compelling content strategy to share product updates, industry news, and event information with the freelance community. Leverage job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and freelancer communities to strengthen YunoJuno's brand presence in both the UK and US markets. Plan and host community-focused events to drive growth and engagement through webinars or meet ups. Work closely with the YunoJuno Talent and Sales teams to support talent acquisition initiatives and strengthen marketplace disciplines and skills as required. Ability to check key skills needed for each specialism and ensure the quality level is maintained and in line with the Talent teams expectations. Requirements : Extensive experience in a community management role centered on expanding and nurturing a community or user base. Experience in a marketplace or recruitment industry within a startup or scaleup environment is a valuable asset. Desirable experience in supporting talent teams in recruiting in Tech, Creative or Marketing specialisms. Demonstrated experience in initiating and measuring the success of community growth and advocacy programs. Strong affinity with content creation, and managing online platforms such as Telegram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Eventbrite, Discord, Reddit, Luma etc. Passion to develop freelancer communities both in the UK and internationally. Experience in building relationships and interacting with customers. Ability to empathise with freelancers and quickly grasp the issues they are facing. Self-starter and proactive, can take initiative and are comfortable scoping, driving and executing on initiatives.
