Location: Varied (In-person at football sessions in Southwark, Lambeth, and Lewisham and remote for editing with opportunities to work from our Brixton office). About the Role We are looking for a Volunteer Social Media Assistant to support our London Marketing Lead in growing our TikTok presence and expanding the use of Reels and video content on Instagram. This role is ideal for someone passionate about content creation, social media, and grassroots football, who wants to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within the sports industry. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the London Marketing Lead to develop creative content ideas for TikTok and Instagram Reels. Attend Girls United football sessions to capture engaging video content featuring players and staff. Edit and produce high-quality short-form videos for social media. What We’re Looking For: Passionate about football and its ability to drive social change. Familiarity with TikTok and Instagram Reels, including current trends and editing techniques. Basic video editing skills (experience with mobile editing apps or software like CapCut or Tiktok editing). A proactive and creative mindset, with a keen eye for engaging digital content. Comfortable attending sessions and interacting with players and staff to capture authentic content. Able to commit a minimum of 2 hours per week (or 8-10 hours per month), with flexibility depending on availability. A DBS check is required for this role which we will arrange.
