Pro-Found are looking to recruit a Driver/Installer for our client based in Killamarsh, S21.
Driver/Installer Benefits:
1. Pay: £13 per hour DOE
2. Location: Killamarsh, S21
3. Hours: 7am to finish (core hours 7am to 4pm) - flexibility required
4. Monday to Friday and occasional weekends
5. Some overnight stays - fully expensed by the client
6. Start date: ASAP
7. Contract: Temporary ongoing - potential to become permanent
The role:
Required to drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle, delivering and installing outdoor furniture to locations around the UK.
Duties:
1. Driving 3.5 tonne vehicle - vehicle has to be left on site so you will need your own transport to get to and from Killamarsh
2. Basic installation of furniture, benches and tables
3. Using hand tools
4. Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods
5. Handling driver dockets, paperwork & cash
6. Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling
7. Daily checking of delivery vehicles
8. Adhere to all health and safety regulations
9. Must be flexible with hours
10. Strong work ethic. Be able to work using own initiative
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
12. Be a team player
Criteria:
1. Valid UK driving licence
2. No more than 3 points on driving licence
3. Previous experience in a similar delivery role is essential
4. Willingness to work on site as well as drive
5. Strong customer service skills
6. Experience of basic installing and using hand tools
7. No unspent convictions as the role requires a basic DBS check
