We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our outpatients department at Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital.
Our community hospitals provide a wide range of services including in-patient rehabilitation, outpatient consultations in major specialties such as child health, dental services, therapy and rehabilitation services, minor injuries, minor illness, phlebotomy, sexual health clinics, and other out-of-hours treatments.
We are run by a team of Matrons, Nurses, rehabilitation assistants, health care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care managers, pharmacists, visiting medical officers, and medical consultants.
We are looking for you to be a qualified member of the Outpatients Department Team, supporting the OPD Junior Sister and maintaining the day-to-day running of the Department at both sites.
You'll ensure the effective management of all clinics, carrying out and assigning tasks involving direct/indirect care to the patients attending the department.
The department consists of Out-Patient clinics, with visiting Consultants from Acute Trusts – for example, Orthopaedic and Trauma, Cardiology, and Gynaecology.
