We are seeking to appoint an exceptional practitioner to support and collaborate with the Head of Department to develop our hard working and collegiate team.
Specific domains of responsibility will be discussed with the successful candidate and consideration given to their strengths, the areas they wish to develop experience in and the emerging needs of the department. This could include one or more areas from below:
KS4 Biology, Chemistry or Physics KS3 Science Improving Teaching and Learning Assessment and Tracking
The successful candidate will;
• Plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons to pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, of different ability levels.
• Set homework and revision tasks, and support their completion.
• Take ownership for specified areas of the Science curriculum.
• Support the Head of Science in leading aspects of departmental improvement or CPD activities.
• Deputise for the Head of Science, as necessary.
